Will these Volk's fit?

TE37 17X7.5 et30 Since the rim is only 7.5 I'm thinking that the et30 might
fit or am I'm do the math wrong?

Will fit perfectly.

I've got 17"x7" +32 on one of my vr4's and the fit nicely with -30mm lower springs and stock camber.

18"x9" +30 on the other vr4 required a slight rolling of the guards, running much lower and a more track oriented camber setting.

7.5 with only a 30mm offset is going to be a tight squeeze IMHO.

how do you figure?

7.5" +30 will sit the outside edge of the rim 8mm further out than the 7" +32 on my car, with stock alignment the camber gain as the suspension compresses is easily enough for the tire to tuck under the guard at max travel.

Because my 7" wide rim with a 35mm offset would allow tire rub in the front over whoops in the road with the stock alignment. A wider rim with less offset would be worse I would think.

what size tires are you running? I'm using 215/40/17's, though i've run 215/45's in the past also with no rubbing.

I was running a 235/45/17. Admittedly those are probably a little bit big, but IMHO something like a 215/40 is way too short and looks funny. Once I set the alignment up with 2.5* camber in the front I had no more problems, then when I went with the 17x8's with a 45mm offset I really had nothing to worry about. Even if the tires don't rub, they may to stick out and look funny with a 30mm offset. Just my personal tastes, everyone has their own opinion.

I don't want them to stick out at all. The car is currently lowered on H&R's but
I might switch to coilover's.

215/40/17 is 11mm less overall diameter than stock 195/60/15's, but 215/45 is 11mm larger overall diameter, 225/40/17's are 3mm too small - closest is 205/45/17, just 1mm bigger dia.

235/45/17's are 29mm bigger dia. (the same as my 235/40/18's actually)

A 215/40/17 may only be 11mm smaller than stock but since its a teeny tire on a rim that's 2" bigger than stock it still doesn't look right IMHO. Why not get a wheel with an offset that allows you to fit a larger and slightly taller tire under the car without interference from the body or the suspension? With an 8" rim that has a 45mm offset you can fit a 245/40/17 without any rubbing except maybe on the front of the fender liner at full lock, keep some sidewall to avoid smashing your nice rims, and maybe retain some of your ride quality? Even if a set of wheels is a screaming deal I can't see putting them on if they don't allow me to do those things.

John they do make that wheel in a 40 offset, i'm thinking
this would be a better choice.

Just get the +30 and throw some camber at it. I have had 16x8 inch wide with +32 and 225's and it was fine.

Hate the 17x7 fwd pizza cutter sizes though.
