I'm having trouble with a bolt on my caliper carrier on the right front coming loose. I think the threads are fubared.

Stupid question. Is the hub or the caliper carrier threaded? I haven't had time to yank a wheel and look yet as I've been addressing other issues.

The carrier is threaded.

edit James, the hardware that attaches the carrier to the knuckle is another example of a shoulder bolt. You probably don't want to substitute a hardware store bolt in that location, as the shoulder helps locate the carrier on the knuckle.

I saw your wtb for the carrier, and I'll get one with the hardware shipped next week.
