My Mini VR4 project Collection

Okay I'm new here but I know a bit about DSM's not alot but pretty much the basics.
So my plans are for a basic street build not to crazy fast but quick enough.

So here are some plans:
Rebuild Block & Head
New spark plugs and wires
The Complete Evo 3 coversion w/ 16g turbo
Walbro 255 fuel pump
550cc injectors
Turbo Catback Exhaust Preferbly a stock looking setup
FMIC
Cold Air Intake

Something probably 300+ WHP at the end of the build

I need to know what else I'll need for the build any recomendations are welcome.

Have not seen that one make an appearance here yet.

Please send me the VIN for the registry by pm.

As soon as i get the car delivered to my house i will get the vin and pm you it.

Is there anything else i should add to my build to make it official?
It's also going to be my daily driven car maybe depending if my buddy wants to sell me his 1993 Eclipse GSX.

300 HP with your set up should be an easy goal for you on that set up

Its been along time but I took a longer time to pick her up but now it is safely home. I just need to know if it is a 6 bolt i have a piture of what the fly wheel looks like but need some more info on it. I kinda have an idea of what it is but just want to be sure. I will be posting more picture of #376/#1000 (Yes its 376 instead of 364 I was miss informed) Anyways thanks for checking this out and all the help along the way!

All Galants came with 6 bolts, unless for whatever reason the previous put a 7 bolt in it. On the flywheel around the center, count the holes, 6 holes - 6 bolt, 7 holes - 7 bolt. Here's a pic of an aftermarket 6 bolt flywheel.

I see....
I was informed that midway through the production of the 1992 models they changed over to 7 bolt......
Well anyways thanks for the help! tomorrow I will post pictures of how the car sits now.
I was searching around here but no luck finding a tutorial to do a wire tuck correctly? Any help?

That is true of DSM's but don't forget your Galant was Imported from Japan which makes it a cousin /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

yeah thats true.
Well now I know what parts to buy now!!!
So next week I will be ordering parts to do the engine rebuild.

It might not be so easy with the lousy 85 octane they have there. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
