Well, by the looks of the exhaust mani gasket (old looking?) It may just need to be replaced, or try tightening all the bolts again if you haven't already? Or, maybe you could try the VC gasket, although from the small area shown in the pic it doesn't look like it's leaking. This may be a real wild guess but I suppose it could be possible the oil feed line to the turbo could have a small leak and be spraying oil up in the general area??

Just some thoughts /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I had the idea of a small about coming from one of the crush washers on the feed on the head and making its way down into the manifold where it is located in the pic. The gasket is brand new with about 100 miles on it. I think that maybe one of the copper washers on the feed could be the issue since i know they only like to be used once, and ive reused them 2 times.c

Yeah there's a good chance that's the problem then, Since those suckers are cheap enough you should really never use them twice, especially if they have been torqued down, that essentially destroys the possibility of getting a solid seal the second time around....

i have 1 copper washer on one side and 1 copper washer on the other side. should there be 3? I highly doubt its leaking from there but could be wrong gaskets are all brand new im gonna try to retighten these studs up

That's good that there both new, I would just try to re-tighten and see what happens, if it doesn't work you may need a new gasket...

EDIT: Where did you buy the crush washers from? If there not the mitsu ones there is a possibility they aren't the right size/thickness..

The lower/center stud is the one that goes into the oil return passage FWIW, like mentioned your leak is from somewhere else.

Just replace those two gaskets and check the VC gasket to make sure it's not leaking from there. While you're at it, you can inspect the bolt if you're concerned about it.
