where is the ecu located on 92 gvr4's

Pass side front kick panel under/behind the dash.

if ur sitting the in the passenger seat, where ur right foot would be, its to the right of that behind the panel.

Just remove that plastic section under the glovebox for easier access, mine pops right of with ease.

If you just peek over the top of the passenger's side kick panel you will see a 12mm bolt and a 12mm nut/stud, which are to hold the ECU upside down in that location. You need to remove that plastic pan under the glove box, if your car still has it.

Haha I was just really bored! It was quite fun and as you can see a lot of time and effort went into that. I would have posted a real pic but my car is not around at the moment.
