As far as I am concerned, the "stock" gap is fine for all mods.
 

.030 for 17psi or less, .028 for 17psi +. Been using this rule of thumb from RRE for years...

I run 29 and haven't had an issue with "blow-out" at 27psi but maybe I was just lucky.
