Fuseable link belt fuse what is it for?

What does the belt fuse on the fuseable link control. I would like to get rid of the fusible link and clean up the wiring. I am going to use an inline fuse on the alternator since I relocated the alternator and rewired with 4 gauge. I no longer have abs so I don't need the other 2 fuses.

I don't have power steering if that matters

Likely supplies the moving seat belt motors, since those operate without the car on, when you open the door.
