Fuel line coming off bottom of filter

I replaced my fuel filter recently and noticed that the fuel line coming off of the fuel filter was bent a fair amount and looked rather restrictive.

It looked factory though not like an induced kink. Does anyone know how straight that line is supposed to be?

Wish I did when I replaced the fuel filter. It really did look like a factory bend, but with the issues that I am having (cutting out at 5500 rpm) I want to be sure.
