Decided to post a picture of my car. New chrome grill from broken_down. A new valve cover is at the powdercoat shop; gonna have it wrinkle red with shaved lettering. Hope to have the driveshaft rebuilt next week. Still have squeaky suspension... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bawling.gif

Okay, so a huge amount of things have been happening with this thing lately...

Check out this vid to hear it's first startup after cams and other exhaust elements installed.

More details once I get it looking respectable. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Decide to be less reclusive and post a couple update shots. Rarely driven the past 6-9 months. Photos were touched up a lil. The car has a bunch of dings, blemishes, scuffs, and peels... but it has promises & aspirations for new paint and more custom work next year.

Displaying the beautiful 3" Stainless Steel, mandrel bent exhaust mated with a Magnaflow muffler hanging solid.

Showcasing 12.5" rotors and 3KGT Calipers on a 5 Lug swap. Rims will soon be changed out.

An above/ 45 degree shot of the car flaunting JDM headlights and a plastidipped 89 Grill. Also missing a cladding.

Underneath, the Evo 8 Bilstein struts are mated with Swift lowering springs.

Underneath, its not too shabby. You can see the car's catless setup in the distance.

The engine bay. Not glamourous, but thought out. Ceramic coating, powdercoating, porting, all wherever feasible.

Closer look, underneath is an EVO 3 16G attached to an EVO 3 exhaust manifold.

An ETS FMIC lurks behind the uncut bumper.

Decided my car needed a personality when it starts taking on its new form. I like to consider this thing a monster, a green monster. I did some research and found the Kappa. It's a scaly humanoid salamander with a beak that is typically green. They are mischievous, but can be tricked into helping people. More Here

You really think this is an issue? What is your recommendation? Ceramic the J Pipe?

Just a couple images displaying new tires and Evo9 rims.

A big shoutout for CutlassJim (James Rushing) for making (Stage 1) of my plan happen! This guy is an expert mechanic and professional at best.

More later.

I'm pretty sure I drove that car when it was still new at the dealership. Either that or 997. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Looks nice!

I'm sure coating the pipes wouldn't hurt anything. I'd probably just get the factory manifold heatshield, since it'll bolt right onto the manifold you've got and they really do work. If you've got a factory-ish o2 housing, I'd run that one too unless alternator swaps and trips to autozone are fun for you.
