Whats the difference between a turbo MAF and a nonturbo MAF for a 1g?

Is there any difference between the two? My non turbos MAF went to car part heaven and most of the ones available on this wonderful gem of a website are turbo.

So if I went ahead and bought a turbo MAF and stuck it on my nonturbo 1g would it explode or cause catastrophic failure in any way?

Hopefully someone can clue me in to the difference if there is any. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Yep they are different and not swappable.

Think in terms of airflow ( or air ingestion ) for your answer as to why.

Extra wire on the turbo maf for the barometer, IIRC.
