This forum is cool

I gotta say this forum is very cool. Lots of newb questions and no bashing. Really cool. I appreciate that.

This forum blows. I keed. Lots of seasoned veterans on here and with that comes a pretty hearty body of knowledge. My car would have even more issues if this forum never existed.

I see you made your way over here from WiDSM.org.

More Wisconsin DSMers on here to represent!

We try to keep a civil tone here. We do have some troublemakers, but as long as newbies keep a civil tounge, even inflammatory posts die quickly.

As long as everybody acts like adults, we can keep it a polite, helpful and fun site.

This is probably one of my favorite forums I've been a member of. I drive a STI and have been hanging out on Nasioc for the last few years. This forum is the polar opposite. I have always found it amusing how owners of different types of cars seem to share a group mentality. Every community is different.

^Even those of us that don't even have a GVR4 anymore still hang around this place and offer up help from time to time.

Welcome to the fray, WIDSM and NASIOC folks. The more the merrier. I think we all, as gearheads, spend far too much time isolated in our own little cliques anyway.

Indeed. Even this site could use with a judicious application of the Golden Rule.

The amount of help you get is directly related to the amount of help you give. Always pay it forward. The more of us with that mindset, the better this place will be.

Welcome 1971!! Good to see another member from WIDSM.

Agreed with previous posters, the battle of wits is always fun on a forum, as long as there is some dignity left after the dust settles.

Maybe. Its your fault I have the pleasure of sweating and bleeding all over one of these pieces of sh....rare beauty that is called a GVR4 on a regular basis. I had a subscription to Super Street when your car was featured, it was the first VR4 I had seen done right. Now, because of me, my little brother owns 1501 and I get to be his sponser/mechanic. I figure if these cars don't make you hate your life part of the time, you're not driving it hard enough.

And I don't remember my car being featured in Super Street. At least not without my permission. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif I'm guessing you mean Modified. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Modified sounds right too, lol. I used to have subscriptions to both. I worked at a Pizza Hut in an indoor waterpark and had lots of downtime to check out car porn, so the magazines were a must.
