Belt issue

Not sure what happened but I had gotten some squealing lately. Tonight the alternator belt broke and the power steering belt stopped spinning. Can that wheel lock up? Can it be fixed? Not sure what happened but I need it to get to work.

You can loose power steering just not alt it takes out the water pump and power steering with it I just snapped my belt, just replace belt

 

Make sure that the waterpump pulley and alternator are spinning and that everything is tight, if so just replace the belt.
