What are the difference's between 6 bolt rod bolts and 7 bolt rod bolts?

I may be wrong, but I think the 6 bolts are 9mm and the 7 bolts are 8mm.

Reason I ask is we installed arp rod bolts on the rods in the motor. I was looking for something to write on for something completely different and noticed the arp paper said for mitsu 93 and up! I don't know how we didn't catch it but would the 7 bolt rod bolts fit in 6-bolt rod without notice?

They are different diameter. The 7 bolt arp rod bolt is not going to register in the hole for the 6 bolt rod. Too small by 1 mm. Take them out and redo the job.

OK, I was just checking to see if it would fit. Hoping the 7 would have been too big so that wouldn't have fit. Time to drop the pan.

Wow. Never mind, the label says 93 and earlier. So that's my fault. But who says that?
