Well guys, the weather sucked ass, but that didn't keep a few of us from making it out to East Coast MOD this year. I wanted to make at least ONE event this year with my sh*t box, so I figured I'd just suck it up and drive the Galant in the rain. I'm glad I did, because I got to meet a few guys from the forum.

There were only 4 Galant VR4s in attendance, counting mine. By far, we were the Mitsu minority, aside from the single Evo III that showed. Hell, there were more Outlanders there than Galant VR4s. There were a f*** ton of Evos (most if which were flaunting a f*** ton of carbon fiber), and a few of everything else. There were quite a few 3KGTs also, most of which were nicely done. I was a little surprised at the amount of rice, but even those guys seemed cool for the most part.

Anyway, here's my photo dump with a little commentary. Enjoy!

So, this one is dedicated to Wop. As soon as I saw the 3KGT trailer with a tap and ice well for a keg, I thought of Mark /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Wow not a bad turnout for rain, that purple mess of an eclipse won 'best something' last year. A couple different VR4s I haven't seen, great pics!

I did not see any starquests there this year. Good turnout for the rain. A could of good non VR4 galants turned out as well wish mine made it. My Evo X just blends in lol.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised not a single Starquest showed. I'd say over 75% of the cars there were Evos. The Mitsubishi announcer guy said there was more of a turnout this year in the rain than there was last year. I'm not sure how true that is, but there were easily over 100 cars there.

I'm just happy my car made the 4.5 hour round trip without a tow truck /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

I didn't see any Mitsubishis on the side of the road on the trip up or back, so hopefully everyone else fared as well as I did. The black Stealth with the gold wheels passed me on the highway on my way there. Gawd damn that car is nasty fast. Overall it was a great trip and lots of fun. The weather sucked, but traffic was good and the drive there and back went without a hitch.

A little shot from the VR4 cruising over the Delaware Memorial Bridge:

Very nice photo set. I so wish I was there.

I'm too nervous driving my car far distances with so few miles on her. I want to make sure all the major bugs are worked out before I take that kind of a trip.

Starquests can't drive in the rain...

Kick ass man, tons of sweet pics, thanks for those. I would have loved to make it but I couldn't justify the trip for a few hours of hangin. Need something like the shootout to make it worth the drive. Maybe one of these days when I have more money and time haha

Wish I could have made it this year as well. Had too much going on with the family. I'll definitely be there next year.
