The San Antonio IFO and I don't exactly see eye to eye. Last time I attempted to go, I trailered my Talon all the way down to Marion Tx, approached the gate and found out they had cancelled it. There was no cancelation notice or anything. Cancelled due to cold temperatures and a slight gust. To us, this is not a bad thing, no rain at all. Not saying that'll happen again, just bad jew jew.

Bracket race 550 Mike. Someone has got to represent. Once it's tuned next year, you should be able to qualify for Forced Induction Sport. Although Texas has faster cars than Ohio /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I'm not tuned yet and don't have a wideband or FPR, so no racing for me yet Craig. I hope to have all this stuff done in time for next years shootout though.

Yep, called it last time. I didn't get an answer.

I don't know how you drive without a wideband. I feel blind without it.

Just until I get those parts, I'm not planning on keeping it this way. After the next big purchase, the WB, FPR and other odds and ends will start coming in the mail.

You've purchased things like a rear gas tank protector, but still don't have a WB or AFPR? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif When is the last time you were even able to do a WOT pull through the gears in your car? I would be jonesing for some boost. I think you got yer priorities a mixed up. Can't romp on it due to lack of tuning and tuning tools, but at least the gas tank is protected... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Yeah it was a limited thing so I had to jump on that. Widebands and someone to tune my car will always be there. Sometimes in life you see things you know you won't ever get the chance to get again and you catch it before it goes away.

Was the Bullfab stuff that you paid for and then had to pay to have modified to fit limited? I don't think so. Probably could have waited on that, no? Is it any wonder why the locals think your car is all show and no go? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

The bar was needed because this setup wouldn't allow me to use my stock pieces mark..

What about the $800 coilovers you just bought? Or the $450 rear window visor? Side rain visors? The "Move Over" window decal?

There is no rational reason your car doesn't have a wideband. I guarantee your air/fuel ratio is all over the place. I respect your dedication Mike, but there is a reason your car doesn't get the respect you feel it deserves .

Coilovers were on a sale, and the rear visor is not something that comes around very often, as I already said before, that's why those items were purchased. And the stupid move over decal was practically free but took it off.

As for the respect thing, I really don't care what others think, I know what I'm going to do with my car and how or when I do it is entirely up to me because it's my car. While others may not agree with the way or list of things I do to my car, it's all opinion. Because, again it's my car not theirs. I don't go telling anyone what order to buy their parts. But it's all good. Samara is Getting there.
