Does anyone know where to get new ASC sunroof seals? 501 is getting paint soon, and a new headliner, im tired of getting leaked on, and dont want a new suede headliner ruined. I really hate sunroofs!

I had a parts car with an ASC sunroof. I wasn't sure how to properly remove the seals and probably damaged them when I pulled it out. Now I have this whole unit sitting in my garage and I would love to have this info for selling purposes.

Can you guys take a pic of the switches on yours? Mine has an aftermarket, non functional inlaid sunroof and it looks a lot like this one.

I won't be able to get a pic for over a week, but I'll try my best to remember. I never tested it, but the previous owner loved the sunroof and it looked like a pretty nice unit.

Preskit, go with your original plan of Chopping a top off a non sunroof car and welding it onto yours! I promise I wont use it as a trampoline!

ASC was the premier manufacturer of sunroofs back in the early 90's. Be glad if you have one of those installed and not some cheap crap. We used to cut holes in the 1G DSM even though we knew when you open the hatch it's break the sunroof if it was left open. Nothing a few relays couldn't fix though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif
Call some sunroof instalation companies, they might have some seals laying around.

I definitely have an ASC sunroof as well. I know because one of the 4 switches in the little panel says ASC. The damn thing doesn't work though.

I just found this webpage. It says they stock replacement parts for most aftermarket installed sunroofs and they even have model/sizing and diagrams for ASC sunroofs. click

If anyone wants to upgrade to a newer model ASC spoiler type sunroof I have one brand new as I never could commit to cutting my roof to install it. $200 + shipping
