Shifter column bushing part numbers?

Has anyone rebuilt their shifter linkage by putting new OEM bushings in? I tried to find the right bushings on mcmaster-carr to no avail, so I'm looking to get the part numbers for the 6 bushings I need to replaced.

In the car, 2 of the bushings are the same (dark colored) and 4 of the others are the same(off-white). I looked in caps and although the caps part numbers coincide with this, the actual replacement part numbers are the same Mitsu part number. From caps:

Anyone have verification that these are actually the right part numbers? Or another part number that is actually correct?

CAPS shows the 91s having two different part numbers, 4 of MB580253, and 2 of MB367320. 92s show all six the same as you found.

I'm actually in the process of cleaning up the modified shifter from my scrapped 91' Talon project. I had Dogboxracing modify the shifter to limit the throw and was thinking about replacing all of the bushings while it's apart. The shifter was starting to develop some corrosion so I planned on cleaning it up and painting it before installing in the galant. I see Iceman listed the parts for a 91' shifter, however I'm not sure if the T/E/L used different bushings or not. I'm assuming they don't, but it's odd to see that the 92's had differnt p/n's listed. Let me know how you make out Jepherz.

Interesting. I actually pulled the assembly out of my 91 in order to figure out which parts I needed. But the parts I need are actually for my '92 as that's the one that's all blown out. I guess I need to dig into that one too then. Or just order a bunch since they are decently cheap.

I just picked up all these bushings from the dealer yesterday. My total was 48.01 for all 6....

BSHG GEAR MB367320 i'll look at the others and post the numbers tomorrow.

Yeah, the MB367 part number is cheap, but the other one is not.

Well, I took my '92 apart and found that it uses the same parts as my '91; 4 of one part, 2 of the other. I guess my build date must have fallen in the sweet spot before the change took place in '92. I ended up just swapping the parts from my '91 over for the time being since I drive my '92 daily. Turned out that 2 of the bushings were completely missing! After cleaning all of the parts and putting the bushings in with good grease, my shifting is greatly improved.

The parts aren't too expensive though. From Mitsubishiparts.net:

Dave, you can probably answer this question. I haven't looked up any of the shifter piece part numbers, but is it possible they are all the same and mitsubishi just switched to use all 6 of the cheap bushings to save on costs? I haven't actually tried putting the whole mechanism together with the "wrong" bushings, but they are essentially all the same size. I'm thinking you can get away with just ordering 6 of the cheap bushings and using those on any shifter.

I also got some OEM's from Mitsu and it was 4 o the same and two were different

Jeff, looks like different material, but could not discern enough to determine exactly how/what. Dimensionally they are basically the same except for the outside diameter of the flange portion.

I have a 92 Talon.I have steel bushings at the trans.
Fabbed heim joints on the cable at the shifter
Steel bushings on the shifter base
Hand made bronze bushings on the shifter
All the above makes a very nice shifter
I have a write up in the tech section on www.dsmtuners.com on the heim joint for the shifter cable
