i dont even know what this means /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
is this some kind of hip new ebonics or drifter/ricer terminology?

i googled "sitting flush" and got literal definitions such as "cpu heatsink sitting flush against the processor"

I think he wants an offset that will bring the wheels out from under the arches so they fit flush with the bodywork. I think all the backspacing and offsets given on the wheel information page are to emulate stock setups which I admit look a bit lame with the wheels tucked way under the body.

Tell him to look at the NZ and Oz thread, those guys seem to have whee fitment sorted ...

I am not completely 'hub centric' but I am deffinately 100% sitting flush with my chair /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
I think Hostyl has the highest wheel/wheel well ratio. Not much room to move how it is right now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif

haha, with some smaller tyres stretched on I reckon I could probably add another half inch of rim width /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Reaching back to grab the handle is a bit hard while sitting, so I would say no, I stand and flush.

0 offset will have you looking like the vato. Common wisdom says that an offset of ~40 should be used for tires in the 225-235 range. Bigger tires stick out even farther and need a higher offset to keep them under the fender. I think that 1051 is a good example of wheels that sit flush with the fender.
