i just noticed last month that there's this "wissing", high pitched sound when i open the door while idling. found out it was my walbro.

the sound comes and goes. not really there all the time.

but with or without the sound, i dont seem to lose any fuel pressure at all. drives and idles fine.

im just worried if it's about to go.

They are also known as "whinebros" because they are really loud. I probably wouldn't worry too much, but make sure you don't let it get too low on gas too often, its really hard on the pumps.

alright guys. thanks so much for giving me peace of mind. yeah come to think of it, i was low on gas every time i heard it whine. but not low enough to make the fuel warning led on the dash to light up though.

will continue to observe whining vs. fuel level and update you guys.

I mean, why don't you just drop a new one in? They are only like $100 or so new.
