I bought a pair of JDM hood vents 2 years ago. My question is: did any of you guys mod the stock usdm hood? if yes, can you please show me some pics? I know it would be easier to simply buy a JDM hood, but its too expensive for me with shipping, paint and all, so Im gona try and install the vents on the stock hood.
Just curious if somebody already had them installed on their usdm hood. thanks for the input guys.

I think they stick up on the stock usdm hood. The jdm hood has indentations for them to sit in. Correct me if i am wrong.

This thread will tell/show you where to put them. AFAIK when people put them on a USDM hood they just let 'em stick up a little. You can put a small bead of silicone around the edge to help seal it but there's no PRETTY way to get that recessed look.

You did a good job. Did you end up cutting out the supports? If not thats the cleanest install I've ever seen.
