Not sure when this started or what this is, but I had my radio on th other day and noticed the whine from speakers that associates with my Engine RPM???!! it's driving me nuts now that I know what I am listenning. What could be the cause or cure for this?

You put in non-resistive sparks plugs in? You remove the little noise filter gadget that is near the coil on the wiring harness? It should be attach on top of the plastic guide that holds the injector wire loom.

Hmm I thought thats was always a bad ground on the radio or amp and the nosie was the alternater whine.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

A hum can be a bad stereo install, but on these cars, the spark plugs should have the R in the part number. You can order the same part number without the R in it.

If you have your battery rewired to the trunk the cable will act as a big antenna and broadcast the AC hum of the alternator. This can be picked up in the stereo or, more often, in aftermarket amplifiers if you are using unshielded RC cables.

I did have the pump rewired and I'll check the spark tonight, I know the silver thing on top of the coil is there and not disconnected. If it was caused by the pump rewired, How would I go about fixing it? thanks.
