I'm trying to put some good lenses with good reflectors, I've removed the clips and then tried a hair dryer to heat up the goop, but no luck, should I throw them in the oven for a little bit? And if so at what temp.? Or what have other people done? I guess I should say these are the 93 style lights. Thanks in advance.

I opened mine using the oven method. Set it as low as it would go and just bumped it up until the goo softened up enough to pry them apart.

There are a few write ups on the board that go over this in depth..

Thanks!! I tried a quick search and only found a post about taking the back off and painting everything, nothing about actually opening them.
