Does anyone have the part number for the thumb cap on the door handle? Mine came off, I'm guessing on the highway. I hope they're still available, otherwise it's a winter junkyard trip for me.

Myles, I actually broke one taking it out to paint my car. It actually isn't meant to just snap out, so make sure you dis-assemble the handle correctly in order to get your new ones to fit in all the way. You need to remove the grommet in the door jamb, undo the 10mm bolt, and remove the metal clip that secures the thumb cover in.

Thanks Jeff. That's probably why it didn't stay in. I had to take it out when I locked my keys in the car. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

Ahh yep, it was definitely broken then. Let me know if you need pics of the assembly or anything, I have all of my handles out.
