Dash kits for a aftermarket deck???

I bought a new deck for my car but circuit city said they couldn't install it because they didn't carry any dash kits for it. So now i'm gonna have to do it myself. Do you know who sells dash kits for our cars? Also will the ones that have a slot for the deck and a SAFC work(the ones for the 1g dsm's)?

Single DIN? You don't need a "dash kit". You probably only want a pocket to replace the factory CD player. You can get those from a dealer... search here.

Well the one i have is a double din(i think). It is the factory tape player. It takes up the whole square space up. The top half is for the tape part and the bottom half is for the volume knob and equalizer.

Rice Killa can probably get you what you need from the Factory even one of the "Infamous" DIN Flip lid Boxes too... Send em' a PM if he doesn't mind /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/idea.gif

use the factory mounting bracket and either buy a dash kit with a pocket, or do like above and get one from the dealer.

This was just covered a couple of months back. Here is a link to the THREAD with all the info you'll need. My post in that thread includes all the part numbers you'll need and gives you some options as well. If you've already got the stock radio brackets then you don't need them (the last PN I posted). Good luck with the install.
