Rear quarter window adhesive

My rear quarter windows are leaking so I’m going to take them out and reseal them. Has anyone done this before and know what the correct adhesive to use is?

Mine did this too. The windshield shop used butyl tape.

I used rope butyl. Non-hardening and not an adhesive. the screws hold the window in so it does not have to be an adhesive. This stuff is also used to seal in the taillights.
