G they are 0Z Racing Reps. Cant get the rear deal in 4 lug.

Update on shifter assembly rebuild. Made a massive improvement. No play at all. Replaced the pcs on the transmission too. Although the stock ones looked ok. Easy job though.

Base bushings wore out.

Got some new Nardi parts in. Steering wheel, VR6Eater shift boot and Shift knob. The shift knob sit to high with the stock shifter arm. I have a 1G unit coming. Should sit a lot lower.

Took the VR4 to another show. Japfest in UK. Had a great time.

Check out the video for more show footage.

Ok installed the 1G shifter today. Great improvement. No stretching of the shift boot. Great mod.

Did these same replacements on my F5M33 transmission mated in the Colt, and it does make a huge difference in taking up all those little bits of play. They really do add up across the whole system.
However, a Mitsu trans only really shifts well once the shafts and fluid are all properly warmed up. Nice to see the attention to detail there!

Went through every page of the thread, and i'm blown away by the restoration your car went thru!

Where did you outsource the oem parts thru the years?

I'm currently building one also, and looking for parts to make mine stand out above the rest

Cheers from the PH!

Thanks for the kind words. Parts are all through Mitsubishi dealers in US/UK/Japan. Look forward to seeing your VR4.
