Amazing isn't it?

My personal favorite are the heavily airbrushed cutaway tech drawings.

I worked a RR in Derby for a very short period while at university and I spent some time with their tech illustrator who was working on a huge drawing board producing these things by hand in the most amazing detail. He was working on a drawing/painting for the Trent900 jet engine so that was like 1997 if I remember correctly.

I never fail to be amazed by the sheer craft of producing something like that by hand.

really glad to share these brochures, and them to be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Richard
