Looks like a FWD 4g63/t flywheel.

You can count the teeth and then go to Autozone's site and look up random Mitsu's to see what matches it. I'm guessing its from a 1g na fwd 90-92.5 since its a 6 bolt flywheel.

^^ not RWD as there's no provision for the spigot bearing in the middle.

The stock flywheel on my mirage (4g91) was just like that.

4G91 or 4G61? 4G91 is 1.5L and was never in a CSM.

4g13, 4g15, 4g61, 4g61t, 4g67, 4g92, 4d65.
That is all I can remember having been installed in late 80's, to early 90's CSMs worldwide.
Wiki'd that for reference too: Sirius Engines Wiki

If strokin's 4g15 had that flywheel, it would have had a smaller overall diameter because the 4/5 speed manuals had a smaller bell housing.

I appreciate the overwhelming feedback on this subject. This is weird though, this flywheel came off of a 4g63 jdm longblock I recently picked up. Thus I was convinced the flywheel was AWD in either a galant/evolution.

Having read over everyones post this block must have been used and replaced with the original flywheel on a Mirage/Hyundai variant.

There were plenty of NA placements for the 4g63. The rods are the same, you will want to check the pistons to ensure this is a true turbo longblock.

4G91
It's a '93 awd mirage hatch. Came with the 1.5L

4g15's and most the small non dohc engines have 5 bolt flywheels. Definitely looks like a NA 4g63 or 4g61 flywheel

^^ Yup 4g1X equals 5 bolts.

Here is a link to a flat/non-stepped 4g61 FWD flywheel, really just another way of saying 215mm setup.

4g61t.org thread

Looks the same.

Can you measure the diameter of the clutch face contact area on that flywheel? Should be somewhat apparent.

I know cameras can add a certain patina to photos, so it was hard to tell if it's still in there.

AUS cross reference material for anyone interested in FWD/AWD oddities between regions.

I don't know why you you guys are talking about the 4G15.

Mine was a 4G91, with factory awd. Wasn't a 5 bolt.

Maybe the engines having the same displacement is confusing you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Correct. We didn't get the 4g hatch here unfortunately.
