Well since I finaly realized that my intro thread was turning into a build thread I figured I would do things the proper way.
1991 vr4 1865/2000 non sunroof
My plans are 400 ish hp, relocate the radiator forward 2-3 inches to accommodate room for a bigger turbo. Also have plans to upgrade bushing, suspension, coilovers exc. I'm swapping everything from my 93 talon to keep this peice of history alive.
Now onto the pics. Feel free to ask questions as I may fail to explain everything in the pics.

Kind of a standard modification if you own a vr4. A jdm bumper.

Time for cutting. FYI the front was damaged and needed to be removed anyways. If it wasn't damaged I Probably would have left the front core support alone.

Thanks:) and what I cut off compaired to what I welded in Is maybe 10lbs lighter. But the real reason I did this was to relocate the radiator.

Pulled the front subframe today. Getting ready to install poly bushings. While removing the frame one of the mounting bolts snapped off in the body:(. So looks like I will be ether drilling and re theading or cutting the head off of a bolt sticking it in the hole. (there's about 1.5-2.0" deep recess Before the threads start) and welding studs in.

Started the cleaning of the rear subframe and found out its bent at the mounting point.
It's also bent at the trailing arms mounting point. Minor setback since I can just use the talons subframe when the time comes to dismantle it.
