Lets see those jdm bumpers. I have one and debating whether or not to cut the front piece of my bumper for my fmic! So lets see other gvr4s with them cut and uncut!

don't cut the bumper! it just ruins them unless you have a boss looking intercooler to fill the spot. You gain maybe like 5% airflow but make the car much more untidier.

But as requested..

I dont think i have a boss enough intercooler to be filling in the gap if i did cut it. But i do wanna see some more pics tho of other intercoolers with jdm bumpers.

here's an old pic of Mark's car from back in the day also cut which is a very nice interpretation of how it could look when done right.

You can see how the middle is sagging down because it's been cut.

*edit* on GSX_TC's car not turbowops car.

JDM RS front bumper with "fins" cut out. My "big ass" Spearco fmic fills the center nicely.

Although my car has already been posted, I prefer the pic I'm posting below. Also, given the opportunity, I don't think I would cut out the slots next time.

BTW, we should include the rear bumpers as well... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Turbowo, what intercooler are you running? That fmic is HUGE! I love the way it looks when completely filled like yours and cut!

I think it looks better uncut. My tastes have changed over the years. I've had that intercooler and bumper on the car since '04.

JDM bumpers does look way better uncut... and plus it hides that big FMIC if you have one... gives it that sleeper look...
