So, I have a non working sensor, the gauge is not showing anything when it should be turned on. Is it more likely just the gauge or the sensor? Is there any way to tell for sure? I'm working with a Autometer phantom series if that helps at all.

Thanks!

The gauge reads nothing at all or is it all the way lean? Are the connections all good? power/ground etc and leading to the o2?

If the gauge reads nothing then eather you gauge is bad or a connection is bad. If the sensor was dead it would read Lean all the time.

Yeah a dead sensor is lean all the time.

A quick way to kill an O2 sensor is to drive the car without it energized. Ask me how I know /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

So, Its completely off all the time. And, come to think of it I have ran the car without it on as well. I've tested power/ground at the gauge and its correct, I did have a alternator that was charging a little to hard so I'm going to assume it killed it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Do any of the gauges interchange with this sensor?
