Fuel tank pressure

Hey guys!

Just wondering what everyone does to vent their fuel tank pressure after deleting the evap system? I deleted the evap on my Talon, and left it vented, seems fine, but an open tube venting fuel tank vapor into the engine bay makes me a little nervous. So I just deleted the evap on my GVR4, and plugged it. Shortly there-after is when my fuel fill hose ruptured, and started shooting a jet of pressurized fuel onto the ground. When I opened the tank, it let a lot of pressure out, which I've only ever seen when the fuel level is pretty low. Now it seems to vent pressure everytime I open the tank, even with 1/2 tank or more worth of fuel.

So I'm thinking maybe I should just run a line to/from the solenoid, and just route the outlet from the solenoid to a location under the car away from the engine bay and exhaust.

What do you think? What is everyone else doing for tank pressure ventilation on non-evap cars?

[Overkill]

It's really not a danger as far as igniting if that is your concern, but you could always reroute it or just put a vent filter on the tank and remove the line.
