I was inspecting fuse box due to Alternator problem and found a 30amp fuse in the fuse box labeled condens fan, lower right corner if viewed standing by the right wheel. What is this fuse and why did it melt/warped/bubbled but not blown? is there a hidden problem? see attached pics.

Perhaps something else got hot? That or the circuit loaded up, but not enough to pop the fuse?

Condenser fan is the fan for the A/C condenser, the 'radiator' in front of the radiator. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Melted or burned fuse means an overload. A 'popped' fuse is from a short. In other words, your fan is getting old and drawing more current than usual. Eventually, it will pull more than the fuse rating and will pop it. Replace fan motor.

That's sounds plausible, now my next question is will this overload cause any damage to the wirings it self?

Well that is the purpose of the fuse, to fail before the capacity of the circuit wiring is exceeded, but it is still a possibility to have heat damage to the insulation in the process.

I re-wired my fog lights to turn on with the corner lights and this same thing happened to me.
