Moving my engine around I bent my oil pick up a little bit up on each side. Bent it back with some pliers but the mesh is pushed it. Should I replace it or reuse it?

You should be able to find another from another engine quite easily. I'd change it if it were mine.

My damn dog keeps squarshing the speaker grills in my truck, and I've found I can pull them back out with a 90* or hook shaped pick tool.

I just go thru the one of the holes in the mesh, hook the tool thru, and the gently pull the screen back out.

A squarshed oil pump pick up screen is the same kind of a deal, so that trick might work for you as well.

Worth a shot. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you just bent the screen, you can straighten it, but be sure to check the pick up to pan clearance and make sure you didn't bend the pick up tube as well.
