E931 vs E943 binary on my 91 GVR4

I would like to tune my GVR4 from the ground up. Which binaries would you use and why? I have posted this on tuners and the ECU group, but I would like a few perspectives if possible.

Thanks!

Now that is giving me a headache. It has been a long time since I went to school for that stuff. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Feel free to translate, it's not just gibberish. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif But it was to tempting to pass up.

Sorry I'm not much help. I've actually started reading up into this a bit now. Had never heard of anything like it before.

I'm sure some of the ECU guys will be able to give you a good answer though.

You can use either one, but I would probably use the E943. Once you change the mas, maps, idle, and everything else you end up with essentially the same thing. Stock boost gauge is scaled a little different on galants, so if there is any reason to use it maybe thats it.

Thanks for all of the replies! Not sure what MAS is on the car. I'll have to check or ask the previous owner.

Stock MAS with lower honeycomb removed and MAS screw still blocking the way.

In other words...exactly the way it comes from the factory.

Then I would use the GVR-4 E943 binary, since it has the correct MAS Compensation.
