ABS motor runs when cars off?

Ok today i go to drive my car i get to my destination but notice my ABS motor is still running does that mean it will go out soon and another question i unplugged the power wires to it to stop it will it run that way or no.
any help would help

I've heard of that before, and it was caused by a stuck relay in the ABS system.

I *believe* the relay for the abs motor is hiding under a cover located on top of the whole abs motor/valvebody/lawnmower engine looking shitaree in the l/f corner of the car.

Some of us would recommend removing or disabling your ABS.

Just curious to know why, other than supposed weight savings? I found my ABS when it kicks in works very effectively and is unobtrusive also. Granted its no EBD and ABS of todays cars buts its probably one of the safety features you should be retaining on the car.

That happened to me once. I just pulled the plug from the ABS unit, then plugged it back in. Haven't had a problem since.
