click

Go there ^, then click drivetrain, then click 1g AWD clutch swap. It's not a Galant, it is a 1g DSM however it's pretty much all the same steps and the trans/tcase/clutch is all the same.

I know I found one somewhere, when I did mine about 5 years ago. Can't seem to find it with a quick search. (right, clutch swap, duh! thanks Polish) But removal is easy:

cliff notes:
-Remove axle's and carrier bearing.
-Support driveshaft w/ wire or ratchet strap. Remove T-case Make sure you don't dump your gear oil when taking the T-case cout.
-Unbolt the transmission from the block and motor mount.
-Pry away from block and it'll drop out. Make sure you're supporting it, it weights about 100 lbs.

I'd highly suggest getting the $35 factory service manual on cd.

Getting it back in is a bit more of a bitch, so I'd suggest a hoist, or a few strong friends.

These types of questions really should be in the Newbie section.
