Hazard and indicator wires messed up! Help!

The problem with indicators is that ;
1. If i turn the left or the right indicator signal, the indicator works on the tail lights but at the odometer it shows the hazard sign and not left or right indicator.
2. If i put the hazard on, the odo meter does not show anything blinking nor the tail lights.
3. While driving the hazard lights on the odo meter comes on but are a bit dim as if its getting ground from some where. The indicators at the tail lights also turn on at the same time and are lit continuously rather than blinking.
In case 1 and 2 the normal clicking sound comes for the indicator.
4.The car has a security system which is also connected to the indicators. While locking the car both indicators should blink while only the left side blinks not the right side one. Same happens while unlocking through the security system.
The front indicators have not been wired yet so they are out of question. Where should i start to troubleshoot, all these things happen when the ignition is on, when its off its perfectly fine. I guess the wiring near the interior fuse box is messed up. What should i be looking for?

Sounds like you need to get the Factory Service Manual CD and use the wiring diagrams in there, plus the wiring diagram for the aftermarket security system and make sure everything goes where it should.

Electrical problems are a bitch, have fun tracing this down.
