I want to add a secondary/emergency fan to my setup. Can I wire things up as follows to have the secondary fan activate *only* when the thermostat opens?
I have removed all parts of the A/C system.
The main fan is currently run through the relay via one of the ECU's outputs, programed to activate at my hearts (or coolant temp) bidding.
As I understand it, the single wire off the back of the thermostat is only grounded when the thermostat opens.
If I splice into this wire, will the secondary fan only activate when the main fan is running AND the thermostat is open?
