Just happened could it be a fuse or the dimmer switch?

Check your tailights, they're on the same circuit.
If they're out as well, check the second fuse in from the fender in the front fuse box. It's a red, ten amp fuse, and if it's popped, you'll also have no tailights.
If the tail lights work, trying rolling the instrument dimmer rheostat in the dash back and forth a few times. It may have a dead spot in it.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I never found the cause but I had just installed a cd playaer.... uninstalled and it went away!
