Who can identify this wire *PIC*

It's coming off the harness that hooks up to the alternator. I'm guessing its a ground, but can't seem to find where it would go /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Can't figure out what we're supposed to be looking at. Can you doodle where this thing is?

Off-hand, there's 3 connections off that bundle: The alt harness and positive connection, power steering sensor, and oil pressure sender.

Probably the power steering sensor. Locate the power steering pump, look for the male bullet connector (looks like a vac nipple)... if there is not a plug on it, that's probably it. When you're idling, stopped, turning the steering wheel should raise the rpm to help avoid a stall condition. If it doesn't go up, this is the reason.
