Local guy needs help with a car he's trying to finish up. Car has a large frame dual scroll Garrett and a crazy expensive stainless weldbend header with twin Tial gates. Has anyone put one on a first gen or have pictures of one done. The one on the passenger side isn't going to fit without cutting a hole in the hood so my plan is to bolt on another flange and put an elbow on it and then run the dump straight down between the air intake and the scattersheild. Trying to make it look as clean as possible. Thanks

I would cut the flange off the side thats hitting, and weld a new pipe to relocate to a place that will fit.

What kind of piping makes up the header? 304 schedule 10? Or is it thin walled?

Either way: www.acestainless.com

Personally one flange is enough, and looks much cleaner then bolting up an "Extension" to an already expensive header.

Can you TIG?
