anyone recommend a good "rebuild" kit for my 6 bolt???

Mitsu gasket set is the best option.
 

The only thing topline makes that is worth anything on a dsm is the 3g lifters.

I recommend giving JNZ tuning a ring. They have full engine gasket rebuild sets with the OEM stuff.

You can use the front cover just don't use the gears. For some reason if you use OEM gears the pumps work fine. If you use the topline case and gears the gears eat through the case. But still I my self would never use topline /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

JNZ will help you out. When I rebuilt my motor we use to get a discount at the local Mitsu dealer so I just had them order it and went to pick it up. Always worth a shot to ask them if they offer a discount.
