Brake lights not working

Brake lights are not working. Checked the fuse. Another other causes. Switch? Is there a test lead to plug into?

I'd definitely check the switch first. Make sure it's plugged in, make sure it's still mounted so that the pedal hits it.

have a buddy press the brake pedal and check for signal/voltage to the sockets when he pressess the brake pedal.

Fingered it out. There is a large single pole plug at the top of the inboard fuse box. I don't know what exactly the wire goes to, because everyhting else seemed to be working. It wasn't plugged in all the way.
