Alternator fuse keeps blowing

i replaced my alternator last week, and when i reconnected my battery i instantly hear my fuse pop, and its the alt fuse everytime. Im assuming that i have something wired wrong from the alt. their were only two wires that cames off the old alt. The car starts up fine but nothing inside the car works, windows, air, stereo.

what am i missing or doing wrong..?

Check the polartity of the terminals. Sounds like you have them backward.

Shouldn't be polarity if the car starts.

Has the alternator ever worked? Dead short inside it maybe?

well, i had the old alt. tested and it was bad, saying that the charging is failing. So i bought a new one and installed it along with a new battery since the old one had only had 34 crank amps.

+1 I had this happen because the poles on the new alt were opposite of the old alt in their layout.

tried switching the ground wire, and keep getting the same results, sparks from the battery

If you've already had it hooked up wrong, sorry to say but you've almost certainly fried the diodes in the alt. You'll need to pull it and check.
