Has anyone installed these successfully? Does the 1g bracket work?

If I remember correctly the 1gen is somewhat different from the 2gen. I still have brackets for the 2gen 3kvr4 calipers that Garfield made but not yet install them.

1g and 2g calipers are different if the bracket was designed around the 1g calipers and rotors you can use 2g calipers and rotors If it was designed around 1g calipers and uses cobra rotors your stuck with 1g calipers

Ok so, so you're saying the current brackets on the market work with the 2g calipers?

The difference in the calipers is the length of the mounting ears. The 2G's are longer to accommodate the larger 2G rotors. The 1G Calipers are used with the 2G rotors because the adapter plate takes up the extra space. 2G calipers on brackets designed for 1G calipers would allow a 13" rotor i.e. Mustang Cobra rotors.
