why not trade it or sell it? The amount of hassle to get almost evo3 16g performance (albeit ball bearing) seems like a huge waste of effort.

The VF34/39 aren't efficient past 21psi. I would also say to sell it unless you don't want to run more boost than that. A tuned 2.5 STi won't make much more over 300hp to the wheels with them
