I know there are multiple threads on the subject of evo suspension. With that said, I installed low mileage evo 8 gsr struts and springs. I cut the front springs to level the ride height. For the last year the front of the car has had nasty unfun behavior where the front bounces constantly. I feel like I'm driving a honda with cheap coilover springs that lowered to the bump stops. I've grown tired of it now. I don't suspect the struts are shot as they hold pressure when checking, and there are no leaks. Is this the normal ride quality? I don't have a lot of cash to burn, but I could buy new front gsr struts or MR struts. Would going with a front bilstein strut with gsr springs work? Or should I try new gsr struts. I dd the hell of out this and I need some advice.

So I dug up this info:

(Stock(USDM): 180 lb/in (3.2k), 225 lb/in (4.0k). No drop.)

Swift Spring Rates:

Swift Sports: F: 179 (helper section) 269 (main rate), R: 207 (helper section) 319 (main rate) (157-314 for MR). -1.4, -0.8 drop.
Swift Spec Rs: F: 157 (helper section) 358 (main rate), R: 196 (helper section) 380 (main rate). -1.4, -0.8 drop.

Swift Sports MR: F: 179 (helper section) 269 (main rate), R: 157 (helper section) 314 (main rate). -1.4, -0.66 drop.
Swift Spec Rs MR: F: 157 (helper section) 358 (main rate), R: 153 (helper section) 380 (main rate). -1.4, -0.66 drop.

So if I were to swap in some swift lowering springs would I get better ride quality with oem KYB struts?
