I am installing a cyclone manifold on my talon and the manifolds hits the a/c compressor. Is their any way around this? I was thinking about getting 4 1/4 inch spacers to space out the compressor and use a longer belt.

It's a known problem with a known solution. Grind off the boss on the manifold where it hits the compressor. There's lots of material there and you don't need three bolt holes just to support the ignition coils.

I had a cyclone on the galant along with a talon ac unit (yes they work you just have to have someone adapt the lines together I think I put a resister in the plug for the switch the galant had and the talon didn't)and I just took a 90 degree die grinder and sanded down on the runner and also on the block on top of the compressor till I had about .050 clearance and called it good. Yes toybreaker I haz the american feeler gauge but also haz a metric one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif
