Color: Kensington Gray

Mileage: ~188k on Chassis, Unknown Mileage on JDM Motor

I purchased this car in 2006 with 150k miles and have been using it as a daily driver for most of that time with a commute of about 100 miles per day. The car was originally sold and has been in San Diego its entire life which means NO RUST. About a year ago, I swapped in a built 2.4L but that motor only lasted about 50 miles before it spun a thrust bearing. In July 2009, I swapped in a JDM VR4 RS motor purchased from JDM Engine Corp. At that time, I replaced the timing belt, tensioner, tensioner pulley, eliminated the balance shafts, replaced the water pump, and installed revised lifters. The car also has brand new Goodyear Triple Tread tires with ~1500 miles on them.

Aftermarket Parts/Stock Upgrades:
-KYB AGX struts with stock springs
-Whiteline 26mm Rear Sway Bar
-4 Bolt Rear End
-Galant GSX Rear sub frame used to eliminate AWS
-ACT 2600
-Fidenza Flywheel
-Grant steering wheel

Needs/Things worth mentioning:
-Original paint suffers from the classic roof and spoiler oxidation. Oxidation has also begun on the hood.
-Currently has air cooled oil filter housing but line is looped so I would recommend adding an oil cooler to the system.
-The front bumper cover/bumper has been cut to accommodate a FMIC
-Front driver's side fender has some dents
-Front bumper has quite a few scuffs
-Dent in rear quarter panel/rear door on passenger side
-A/C was not recharged after after swapping in new engine
-Settings 1 and 2 on A/C blower do not work. Settings 3 and 4 work fine.

Things that will be addressed before sale:
-Swapping out electrical power steering pump and returning to stock pump and lines (COMPLETED)
-Swapping Cyclone intake for stock intake for smog purposes (COMPLETED)
-Replace thermostat gasket which has a leak (COMPLETED)
-Reinstall charcoal canister and all associated vacuum lines. (COMPLETED)

Items that can be worked into the deal for additional cost:
-5 Lug Conversion
-DSMLink V.3.0 w/ EPROM ECU
-Many other aftermarket parts including the top and bottom end from my built 2.4L

I was asked about compression and finally got around to doing a test today which was stable across the board.

Compression #s: 151/149/150/151

Also, I forgot to add in the original post that the car does have a Fluidampr crank pulley. The car also does not have cruise control and the assembly was replaced with a non cruise throttle cable by a previous owner.

With the exception of the relocated battery and Big 16G, the engine bay has been returned to stock.

I picked up a replacement upper spring mount for the passenger side and will replace it as soon as I find my spring compressors.

Swapped out the fuel sending unit assembly with a clean factory unit and stock fuel pump.

I've seen this car in person, definitely is a clean rust free example. I want a KG car but don't have the time, space or money or i'd have already snatched this up. Tim is a good guy too, you can count on not having to deal with any BS.
